We Give Thanks, O Lord
As we travel through these troubled days
And many fear the outcome -
And more and more of these days
Seem to come to pass,
We hear a prayer from some -
A fervent prayer - "O Lord, Show Us The Way"
And as we listen - Listen - within our hearts,
We ask that everyone do their part,
Trusting In God to Bring Us Through,
Knowing His Love and Purpose True.
Through all that man has caused for himself,
He finds the outcome, lacking.
Now is the time to look Beyond Self,
Calling upon God for firm backing.
If we were to be honest with ourselves,
We would admit - that we cannot always meet -
Our expectations in our lives,
And so many times we become aware -
That Jesus carries us -
Within His Love and Care.
We Give Thanks - For Our Many Blessings.
